GU was very prompt to reply to my application, MIB was offered at GU only, the course design was very attractive and the marketing of MIB at GU was so exceptional.

Empowerment gained, just the absolute package I needed.

How do you feel about the quality of the education you received?
All core and semi-core courses are challenging and outstanding. They are designed in such a way on completion of the MIB degree, one has a feeling of achieving an exceptional challenge, and most importantly prepared to face any obstruction in a career. The library and “electronic library” are of high standard in terms of data content, system used, and the facilities and services were at my expectation. There is a consideration of international students’ English level. As a
Muslim student, it was nice to see that GU thought about providing a prayer room and halal food.
Furthermore, there is an excellent choice of Professors. GU Nathan location is ideal for international students for its proximity to accommodations and the helpful national transportation.

What do you enjoy most about your life in Australia?
Everything! Student life and the beauty of Brisbane are unforgettable.

What advice would you give other students coming to study in Australia?
Open maximum communication with the academics, other students and university administrative people. Always ask for help, use the facilities offered by the university. Before enrolling to any course, find out if you have fulfilled the requirements.

What advice would you give students who are now finishing their studies in Australia?
Build long-term relationships with as many people as you can.

Two months have swept past; quick as lightening! Seems like just yesterday that I received this unexpected call from Gail (Thought my visa papers got messed up!!...Gulp!), asking me to work part time. I was so excited to be called for a job. Honestly I must admit, I was filled with excitement, but deep inside I did not know what to expect.

My experience in IDP has been thoroughly exciting, fun and educational; where everyday is filled with so much to learn. Everyone in the office has been so incredibly sweet, loving, and friendly and most thankfully has welcomed me in this part time position with such astounding spirits.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gail in the first place to ring me up for volunteering at the road show, and Mr. Sanjeev Verma for giving me this opportunity to venture into such an exciting field. My name is Ravi Gandhi. Presently, I am a student of Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia doing Master of Computer Security. I had approached IDP Education, Abu-Dhabi in end June, 2006, with an intention of pursuing further studies in Australia. Till that time, I had very little idea of what to do and where to go.

In spite of very limited time, the counselors in IDP were patient enough to hear me and guide me with my requirements. Through professional counseling, they suggested me couple of universities meeting my primary needs. They really guided me to find the right university by explaining all the pros and cons. They were very spontaneous in answering all my queries and eager to help any time. Based on their advice, when I reached the university, I realized that they had portrayed a real picture of the university in Australia. This helped me a lot to adapt easily to the environment in a completely new place, without which, I would not have reached so far.

I find Sydney and the Aussies very friendly and helpful. At first, I found it difficult to understand the “aussie accent”, but, within a week I started speaking like them.

Sydney is really a beautiful place, it´s the heart of Australia , and the centre of all business enterprises. Halal foods are common and you will find them everywhere at Wolworths and Franklins. There is also a street where only Muslim people lives and that place has a big masjid.

Macquarie University has a huge campus with a big and convenient food court (halal foods available). The university staffs are friendly and always ready to help you.

 My friends used to tell me that I will get homesick most of the times, however, Sydney proves to be very promising and it feels like home to me. I am very happy over here, but of course, obviously miss my parents!

I could have never enjoyed this much and had this chance to pursue my dream of a better life with the best education available, without IDP´s guidance and assistance. With this, I am very grateful.

To be a part of Australian education is probably “ the ” dream of every aspiring student. It was for me. Until, I approached IDP Dubai. They helped me turn my dream into reality. There´s always that element of uncertainty of which place in Australia to target, budget constraints, visa etc. But once you step into the doors of IDP you find them vanishing one by one and your goal becomes clearer.

Here I am today at The University of Western Australia in Perth pursuing my MBA. Right from obtaining prompt replies from the universities to visa processing to advise on the study plan; IDP had been along the way. UWA´s standards of teaching are of the highest order and there´s always the pressure of maintaining the quality. But it only helps in shaping your career. The rich multicultural environment further adds flavor to an already enriching student experience.

A special mention to Ms. Pooja Anand who had the time and patience to answer every query of mine and made my travel to Perth possible without any hassles. Ms. Pooja´s positive attitude, indeed, reflects the service quality of IDP Dubai.
